The NXT Talent went to WAR with they’re own standalone PPV NXTakover  a day before Survivor Series Sunday ( tonight )  where they will be representing the Black and Yellow Brand or it is Gold colors. Against the Monday Night show Raw vs Friday Night SmackDown.  In a champion vs champion as well as traditional survivor series match. For both women and men.  However, War Games deliver in a lot of ways.

During the pre-show, it was mention that Mia Yim was attacked backstage the camera cuts to the backstage where it shows getting medical attention with the question being does this put team Rhea at disadvantage heading into their war games match against team Shayna.  Who will replace Yim? it was later revealed that  Rhea Ripley had decided to select Dakota Kia was the last-minute replacement for Mia Yim. Dakota,  tries to decline the offer  but , Rhea reminds her of all the ill history of how Shayna used to pick on her in NXT Dakota accepts to in war games match.

Also, for the men war Games, it was addressed that Ciampa did speak to a possibly  4 member to join his team against the Undisputed Era. Will the mystery person shown up?

The start of the NXT pre-show was a match

Isaiah “Swerve Scott” Vs Angel Garza

The match between Scott and Garza was a good match.

Garza using his tear off his pants to distract Isaiah allowing him to kick  Scott in the face was a nice touch. The crowd got behind Scott during that match yet, just when it looks like Scott was going had things going his way Angel Garza hits his finisher the wing clipper getting the 1,2,3 on   Isaiah. I wasn’t expecting Scott to lose this match.

What’s next for both Isaiah and Angel Garza? I hope this match leads to a rematch between these two wrestlers. I would like to more of Isaiah’s “Swerve  Scott” feature on NXT TV on Wednesday night. Garza is coming off as a cocky into himself kind of character.

Women’s WarGames

Ever Since WWE NXT has brought back War Games it has only been men going to battle heading to war inside the double ring.  Yet, for the first time in the history of probably wrestling history, the women are going to complete in this structure. Team Rhea Vs Team Shayna. IO  and Candice Lerae started off the match first. Although, IO is a villain the fans are still cheering for her.

The EST of NXT Bianca Belair got to show off her strength by tossing Candice. She is a star on the rise.  This was one her biggest Takeover matches that she has been apart since was last got to wrestle Shayna for the NXT Women’s championship months ago.  The most shocking moment c from women’s war games match had to be the shocking betrayal of Dakota Kia stops mid walking than is running charge straight towards her Best friend Tegan Nox who’s still inside of the cage or is it the holder of the cage?  Attacking her in one of the most brutal turns by attacking her surgically repaired knee. Why did Dakota Kia betray her former best friend? Why did she choose the war games of the night? who wanted to proved that she belongs in the war games? Did she do it because Rhea went with Mia over Kia and Nox didn’t speak up? Did Dakota attack Mia Yia at the pre-show these question needs some answer? Maybe we’ll get them or maybe we not. Despite having the odds against them Rhea beats Shayna to the first-ever women’s war games cleaver for Ripley to handcuff  Shayna ensuring she wouldn’t be able to run from her.

Candice and Rhea are two solo survivors of their team. Does this mean Rhea is next line to receive an NXT Women’s Championship match. ?

 

Second match Killian Dian  Vs Pete Dunne  Vs Priest (winner  get an NXT Championship against Adam Cole at Survivor series

All three of these men have issues with each other. Only one can be the number one contender for the NXT championship at Survivor Series.  The first time the NXT Championship will be defended at WWE Sunday PPV Survivor Series.  The NXT championship has only been defended mainly on NXT Takeovers and  NXT TV. Never has the Championship been  on  traditional WWE PPV. Now that NXT is on the larger network USA Network.  Dunne, Dian & Priest all want to prove to they are deserving of going one on one with Adam Cole for the championship.  It was a very hard-fought hitting,  chaos on top of Choas. In the end, Pete Dunne wins the Triple Threat Match and will challenger for the NXT Championship at Survivor Series.

 The Main Event Men War Games  UndisputedEra Vs Team Ciampa

Who is the 4 member of for Ciampa?

Adam Cole taking his time to bring out as many tables inside the cage as he felt that was needed. Even placing one near the opening of the barricade the only problem for cole was Ciampa shove, Adam through that table. The numbers were in favor of the undisputed era as the clock started to draw near 5,4,3,2,1 music hits It’s Kevin Owens. I didn’t see that one at all. Then again they attack him on Raw before he could tell Triple H is the answer. Maybe this was Payback. The look on Adam cole face and eyes told the story. What are you doing here in NXT at takeover on the Ciampa team?  The ending for the Men’s War Games saw Ciampa sending cole through two tables and getting the win for his team. There was a moment when I saw that I said Oh!!

What next for Ciampa?  Does Ciampa receive his championship match for “Goldie” now that he has pinned   Adam Cole?  Will Adam Cole be in fighting mood as he has to defend his Championship at Survivor Series.?
